I was encouraged to promote the Open Carry of the Rosary by the Laity during an encounter with an Irish Dominican in Rome who said "It is perfectly acceptable for the laity to do so and is in fact a lovely practice". The rosary is worn in place of a sword on the left hip. Simply connect the hook to your belt loop and tuck the cross up and over your belt to secure it.
